The University Chaplaincy is a department in charge of spiritual nurture in the University under the academic Division. It is anchored in the mission and vision of the university. Its main objective is to offer Pastoral Care to all students and staff irrespective of their religion, creed, race, gender or social background. The department offers spiritual guidance and Pastoral Counselling to all students and staff.
The chaplaincy team comprises of the University Chaplain (overall), and the two Assistant chaplains (one based in Nairobi Campus and the other I Mombasa Campus) who coordinate the students’ and staff religious and spiritual activities in all the three Campuses. They coordinate their activities in liaison and leadership of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic and Students Affairs.

The operations of Chaplaincy Department are guided by the University Charter and statutes as well as the Chaplaincy Policy.
Chaplaincy Department also works with the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Christian Fellowship under its guidance. The Christian Fellowship is mainly student led.
